Preston Payne passed on from this world the morning of Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at 1:00 AM.
He died peacefully in his sleep.

Preston was a nine-year-old boy who learned to play soccer with our club, and has played with us ever since.
His team is the U10 Titans.  His brother, James, plays for the U12 Jaguars, and his father, James, has volunteered his time as the coach for many years.  Preston and his family touched so many lives in our club and community.  Preston was diagnosed with brain cancer in October 2006.
Please continue to support his family in any way you can.

Service for Preston will be held:
Friday, May 9th at 1:00 PM
at Dearborn Free Methodist Church
2801 S. Telegraph, Dearborn Michigan 48124

Light refreshments will be served after.
 There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Pulling Together for Preston.

Without our volunteers both to the Board and as coaches for our teams our children would not have the opportunity to learn and grow through the wonderful sport of soccer.

RISK MANAGEMENT

MSYSA has mandated that all clubs have 100% COMPLIANCE with their Risk Management Safety Program.  It is a background check of all individuals who volunteer their time to this club in order to ensure the health and safety of our children who participate in the soccer program.

No individual who has not completed this background check and been approved with the designation of a five digit Risk Management number may participate in club activities.  Our club is responsible for keeping these records, and we are committed to the 100% compliance policy.  Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to keeping all of our children safe and healthy.

To apply online:  https://ssl.gcis.net/mirisk/MIRiskUser/RiskNewUser.asp

To recertify an expired card:  https://ssl.gcis.net/mirisk/MIRiskUser/RiskRecert.asp

Note:  There will now be a $10 fee when you register or renew for a Risk Management card.  Please email Mike Horgan at travelreg@dhsoccer.org with your new expiration date, and he will make sure you receive reimbursement of the $10 fee.

Thank you to all of the men and women serving here and abroad.
We are grateful for your bravery and commitment to our nation and our freedom.
